Sunday Reflections

Sunday, 3 June 2018

While doing my usual Sunday facials, I like to reflect on the past week. Things I learnt, things I have been grateful for and all that. So I thought I would do a weekly Sunday reflection.

A Thought: I have been thinking about how I can make my blog better but was stuck in a rut. Lately I have been reading many different blogs from around the world; I just realized that I love my blog and I will do anything I can to excel. So this weekend I spent making blog plans and deciding how to to make it better.

Piece of Advice: Surround yourself with only positive people. It is easy to get bugged down when you surround yourself with people who are always negative. Rather find people who know how to motivate you when you are feeling down.

A Quote for the week: Sunsets are proof that ending's can be beautiful. All things have to come to end sometime. Don't be sad when something ends, whether it is a friendship or a relationship. While you had it, it was exactly what you needed.  Be grateful and then let go.

Song of the week: Capital Letters by Hailee Steinfeld and Bloodpop. I first heard this song on the Fifty Shades Freed soundtrack. It has such a beat and is a song I am really enjoying.

Lesson for the week: I need to be the bigger person. I get upset with people who are two faced and talk behind my back, but this week I realised that it is better to take the higher ground. When people talk behind your back, it says more about them than you. They have issues with themselves.

Grateful for: My dad and my son. They are my support system and I don't know what I would do without them. I am also grateful for my friends, Leoni, Chevy and Priya. They ground me and remind me who I am.
